The Virginia Barrel Classic was started in 2013 by Carlton, Heath, and Mark Tomlin, as well as their families, to host barrel races that were family-oriented on a professional level with large payouts. These shows would not be possible without the riders, owners, parents, grandparents, sponsors, vendors, and our complete show staff.
No membership is required to enter any class at the Virginia Barrel Classic. Anyone can enter! We offer classes for the open, youth, senior, and everyone’s favorite: the Pee Wee barrels!
Since 2013, the Virginia Barrel Classic has hosted or sanctioned, at one point or another: NBHA, IBRA, WPRA, BBR, Da Bomb Barrel Racing, GTBRA, NBHA VA State Finals, and The American Qualifier.
