In addition to bandwidth, CPU resources are important to monitor. If your CPU is running at or above 75%, you may encounter choppy playback. To check your computer’s CPU usage, please do the following:
On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Del. Then select “Task Manager”. CPU usage is reported under the “Performance” tab.
Open your Applications folder and choose the Utility folder. Locate and open the Activity Monitor application.
At the bottom of the screen, CPU activity is reported.
To free up CPU resources, it may be necessary to close other applications or background services that are running at the same time as your web browser.
